Default SBE V 2.0 98blueSScamaro

New setup for 2013. I been chasing a dream of high HP andhigh nine's with a SBE 346 LS1. My old setup was very powerful. but i wanted more.

Old setup V 1.0 SBE

Cartek 4x 243 milled to 56cc
12.2.1 comp on E85
stock rockers upgraded bering's
fast 102/102 setup ported
60 lbs injectors fast rails and 255 fuel pmp
tr7 non projected plugs
eps 603/238 xe 598/252 111+3
Morel race link bar lifters
1and7/8' kooks with 3in y pipe and home made flow master to 4 in dynomax muffler
EWP
M6 stock trans
3.5 molly strange drive shaft
ford Nine 4.56 gear 28 slick
3300lbs race weight

car made 495 to 494 and 430rwtq and trapped from 128 to 130mph with a best ofa 10.50 at 130mph. i am sure with better 60's and shifting as my driving sucked it would of ran better.

New setup
SBE V 2.0

ETP 215 heads milled 54cc With pac 700 lift springs. T.I retaners and T.I intake and exhaust valves. Almost cut the weight in half 122grams to 62 grams intake. also had AES do a 50deg and 55deg valve job.
still stock rockers
morels links bars
fast 102 setup
new LSL cam
same headers and y
same injectors but now twin 255 in tank pumps. on e85
and same everything else

really thinking of changing the cam again and doing a super vic. and 4150 t/b. what do you all say? more about the number the then the street manners. i cant wait to see how the valves help it had a flat curve from my last setup hope this one will be the same and longer.

Well then anything I say is probably nothing that you dont already know as I dont consider myself an expert but the with your gear and trans I would believe that the vic would be a big advantage over the fast setup. With your old setup it may not have yielded that much more, but going to the higher flow heads is going to make the gap much greater. I believe its going to come down to how high you feel comfortable spinning it as to how much more power it will make.

If it was mine I would do the singe plane milled and ported and spin the **** out of it.

ps- did you run into fueling issues on e-85 with the single 255? What base fp?

Yeah I will spin it till its done by I need to know where thes heads run out of steam. And the people that know this are not sharing. I contacted Ed and all he wanted to do was sell me a cam and not really share info. And I don't really blame him. Aes was telling me to go solid roller and chrs1313 as well. Should be a good 15 to 20 hp there with a good single plane. But with running E85 I am not scared to spin it. This stuff is great no knock can run timing up high.all you need is a great fuel system. All the people that ran setup with pump gas all broke a piston or beat the bearings out of them. Alot of it has to do with the tune as well.

I had a problem off the with loss of power. After looking at logs like crazy I seen fuel was my problem so it now has 2 pumps.
