Default Oil Pressure Sending Unit- Wrench Size

Anyone know for certain what size wrench/socket is needed to pull the oil pressure sending unit? I've seen posts that talk about 1", some say 1 1/16", and I would have thought it'd be metric, so I'm confused.

They actually make a special sockets just for removing and installing oil pressure sending units. I would honestly hit up your local auto parts store and pick on up because they are cheap and will keep any headache to a minimum.

Yup napa sells the socket. They will try to sell you a regular sending unit socket but it wont be right. The part number has been posted many a times so id search for it and bring it to them so you know youve got the right one.
