fuel rail question
can I use a ls2 factory fuel rail on a ls6 intake or an edelbrock pro flo 7140? basically I have a 4.8 and I am going to get rid of the truck intake.. so I need to get a car fuel rail right?

The fuel rail in you link is for a LS2 C6/GTO intake. Its NOT directly compatible with a LS1 or LS6 intake. I don't have a lot of experience with the pro flo intake so im not sure if it will work with that set up. My guess would be probably not perfectly and it would be best to call the manufacture and get their rec as to what fuel rail to use.

This seems to be the best post on rails/injectors I've seen, I'm doing essentially the same thing 4.8 retrofit into 74 nova, not going crazy big on this build as I'm new to the ls swaps. I've got 4.8 and ls1 intake, and dont wanna swap my tank yet so im doing inline pump which requires returness fuel system. i found a buddy with a great deal on an ls6 rail from a Z06 with 28 lb injectors, are these injectors way to much for a 4.8? If so I could switch inkectors since I've got a good enough deal, but will the ls6 rails work directly with my ls1 intake?
