Default How well will a turbo cam work n/a?

Well, I have a Virginia Speed, VTC2 cam, with specs like 230-224 .62x-.59x on a 116 lsa. I have this motor all built and need to go N/A instead of the T76 front mount I had planned. Will that cam be streetable at all. Not looking for max power, just decent for now. The motor is 9.1:1 compression, cleaned up LS6 heads, nothing fancy.

I don't see why not, with your low compression and that cam you will still be fast. lots of people run turbo cams for a bit while theyre building and saving for other parts. Its not optimal but will work, are you getting a tune atleast for this cam?

Ive thought about this, to run my build NA to break the motor in without boost, then hooking the turbo up but I still have time to think about it.

That cam will be fine NA. 9.5:1 is still enough compression to get a good burn and that cam is much healthier than the stocker.

Yep, I'll get a tune. I was just wondering if anybody had done it.
