Default SLP 1.85 rocker arms

Has anyone had any problems with them. Looking to squeeze some extra hp outta my car, but do not want to sacrifice driveability. That's why I only did a ls6 top end swap vs anything more.. i have bad top end luck...

There are better ways to make power for the $$ spent.

So you have a 02 up ls6 cam/heads?

If so I did 1.8 rockers on my crate ls6 last year. Definitely a worth while mod for retaining streetabilty and gaining a some hp. I have never tried the 1.85's but I don't see why they would not work. You will have to change valve springs.

See how much it will cost for 15rwhp (fully tuned) on average.

What Trunions do they use? Is it better than the Comp Kit? It basically looks like the normal GM LS body, so I wonder who they are using for the upgraded trunion. That would be a more worthwhile upgrade...

I had a set, it appeared to be the same as the GM body, with a pushrod seat located closer to the trunion.

$600 for the rockers and another $250 for the recommended valve springs. Add another $15 to $25 for freight and I would say there are better options. Do you already have an 85MM throttle body?

Harland Sharp makes a 1.8. It's not a bad mod really. You should puck up a decent amount of mind range tq. Tinkering around with different intakes and rockers I be I've picked up 30 threw the middle.
