Default Lq4 piston help!

I'm boring my block .030 over and want to put a set of forged piston in with the stock rods. I also want to keep the stock compression witch is 9.4-1. I'm having trouble finding a set with 945 pin OD. Any help is much appreciated.

Good luck. There really isn't much out there for a stock diameter pin. If you have press fit rods, you could always hone the piston pin bore to fit, but you can't with the floating pin rods.

Why use stock rods? The PMRs aren't as strong as budget aftermarket rods. Based on your compression, I'd imagine you will be going boost. So stock rods don't make sense IMO.

Like it was said above me, you will have very little options for a stock pin and why use stock rods, when a nice budget rod will be better than running the stock one.
