i have a 1999 silverado with the 5.3 in it.
i want to get some more power out of it and stay smog legal since im in good ol CA.

my question is: im thinking about putting a LS6 Zo6 Cam and Intake in it since i know i can find them used for a good price.

what kind of power increases would i see?
Would this upgrade be worth doing?
and would this keep me smog legal?

Ls6 intake and a 224 cam would make you happy and keep it smog legal. If It's an auto something like a 2,800 stall

forget the intake. The truck intake is decent don't go blindly assuming since it was truck is was low power.

Truck intake is much better than anything for the cars.
