PRC 225's with Reverse-Split
I have been on site for a year or two now, but just recently made an account. Never posted anything until now since I could find everything by searching.
I am ready to pull the trigger and purchase a H/C setup from TSP. I wanted to get some opinions on a H/C setup first.
I have a 2002 Trans am with bolt-ons (see below)
I wanted to go with the PRC 225 as-cast heads with a reverse split cam.
Really want to make good "under the curve" power for the street, but also run good at the track.
Car is driven a few days a week and goes to the track once or twice a year.
I was thinking either TR230 or something like 232/228, .595/.588 110-1 LSA
Would a reverse split be a good cam choice with these heads or would I benefit more from a traditional split?
What CR should I run? Was looking at getting PRC 225's - 62 cc chambers.
Would I need any upgrades to fuel system? fuel pump or injectors?
Current mods: Pacesetter LT's, ORY, Cut Out, Magnaflow Catback, SLP lid, Port TB, Strano Springs with Bilsteins & Sways, 10 bolt w/3.90's, Tick Master with Monster level 2.

If you're looking for under the curve power, look no futher than the Tick Performance SNS Torque Max Stage 2 cam. If you're looking for a custom grind, hook up with Martin at Tick Performance. He can stear you in the right direction.
As far as injectors go, for heads and cam you will need injectors. Your stock fuel pump will be ok.
