Default Getting ready to order cam and convertor

I am looking at buying the MS4 camshaft package with a yank 4000ss convertor. Was wondering if I should go with .650 or .675 springs and why. And if the stall is good to go with for the cam. Also wondering if stock pushrod length is okay with stock size head gasket.

Background info: Stock bottom end. 3.73 gears(soon). Stock heads.

Any input appreciated. Thanks!

Converter will match good. You plan on spinning that thing up high enough to get the power out of it? And a pt4k would be my choice if I was spinning to 7k.

I was thinking the same thing. I probably would barely ever get it up that high on the street. But I was thinking that the tune would help with that because i feel like almost all of the cams have that high power band.

No, they don't all need to be spun that high....

I phrased that wrong. All of the bigger ones mainly need to be spun pretty high. I was looking at the torquer v3 also. Does anyone know if that has a better powerband from experience?

Get the 3.73 real quick like if going with a 4000...you'll probably max out your stock injectors with the ms4 , thats fine but you'll eventually want some bigger ones. I spin 3k just to keep up with traffic, and 5000 on a regular to get cruising. You should check out Tick Performance line of cams/packages..street heat and the new sns..In doubt, talk to Martin...alot of us have.
