Default Need Cam Help.

Im building a ls1 stock crank, Forged rods and pistons, rod bolts and studs. The heads are a set of trick flow 215s milled down to 56cc with 2.055 intake and 1.575 exhaust. The springs are a double beehive max of .650 lift. I was told they were originally ported by TEA. I am not sure what cam to go with this set up. The goal is 450+ but want the most I can get out of it. ANY help is greatly appreciated. Thanks

What kind of driving are you going to be doing?

I would talk to Martin from tick performance and let him spec you a cam suited to your goals, I don't have one of his cams but I'm going to try him out on my next build...

He just came out with a new line of street cams!!!

Your heads are milled so much you're never going to be able to safely fit anything larger than my Stage 1 SNS TorqueMAX cams in there. It will make damn good power with it, but that's as large as I will sell to you for P to V reasons. That is Unless you're willing to flycut. I can tell you how much to safely cut from the pistons to not have contact issues with any of my camshafts.

OP how aggressive would you like the set-up to be? How many miles a year do you drive the car?
