Default ls1 with 4l60e wrong reading on mph in tech2

hello
this is a 1998 mod camaro engine in a 1970 camaro
during the testdrive the engine cutout at 46mph works fine up to 46mph
when we was at the workshop and connected the tech2 they discoverd that
the car was driving in 117mph when the gps was only shoving 46mph.

what has happend her?
the pcm was programmed before we got the engine and transm.

Sounds like a speed restricted pcm (possibly due to the tires that came on the 98 from the factory) thats got a gear or tire size calibrated wrong in the software for what you have in the receiving car. Or (if the trans is aftermarket) maybe the wrong speedo gear (technically a reluctor or exciter ring, not really a gears perse, but its tooth count is important) is installed. Neither is really a Gen III internal engine issue, but no biggie.

It seems like it has been configured a 17 puls sensor and the sensor is a 40 puls sensor because if you take 40/17 you get 2.5 and if you take 117/46 you get 2.5
The engine and transm came of a camaro 1998 modell.
Anyone know if it exists a a 17 pulse speed sensor to the 4l60e transmission?
