Default Spun #1 connecting rod bearing with 50k miles. What caused it?

Okay so 50k miles on the engine and I just tore it down because of it going down to 0 oil pressure. All bearings were good except for #1 connecting rod bearing and the bearings in it are so loose they won't even sit in the con rod cap. The weird part is it isn't really discolored all that much. My only theory is that I revved it to high and stretched the stock 99 ls1 rod bolts and this caused the bearing to come loose and spin? Just a few thousand miles ago I took it to the track on a 100 shot with a 224r cam and full bolt-ons and shifted it at 6600rpm. Well when the spray hit it would cause the engine to hit rev lim with the extra power so I was spinning it to 6800rpm with about 500hp. My guess is I stretched the rod bolts at that time? Lmk if you think this sounds like the reason to you or if you have any other ideas. Not a big deal just wondering. I now have a forged 346 on the way.

It's possible, but I know may poeple that spin their factory bottom ends (with stock rod bolts) to 7k without any issues. I even talked to Speed Inc about this and they said that they have never had an issue with the stock rod bolts. What oil were you using?

I just mic'd all the crank rod journal throws and they were all right on spec except the one with the spun bearing was at .0987 witch is the minimum spec you can be. I'm thinking about putting all new rod bearings in it and having the con rod bore refurbished and selling as a shortblock. What you guys think ?

Do you have a nitrous window switch? Hitting rev limiter wil cut fuel which is a big no no while spraying
