Default Do aftermarket cams have a lifespan???

About three years and about 25k ago I installed an LG cam with a set of Lunati linkbar lifters and a new set of Morrel springs. I know valve springs have a lifespan which I am getting close to reaching, but do aftermarket cams with 600/610 lift?

Material property issues aside, I'd expect cam wear to be an indicator of several other issues:

-oil type and change intervals
-excessive endplay, misaligned bearings or bores
-excessive bearing clearances (low oil pressure)
-insufficient valvespring pressure (lifter loft). running high lifts and aggressive lobes at high engine speeds with heavy valves and soft springs do not help with this.

assuming you have everything setup properly and match components to play nicely with one another, there's no reason that a cam wouldn't last a really long time.

This^^ People tend to have cam issues even before 5,000miles. 25,000 is very good IMO. Of course, it also depends how you treat the motor.
