lq4 turbo build and tranny issues. HELP now that i have your attention, i need to know a few things. first of all, i plan on building a near stock lq4 and boosting the hell out of her and i will probably beat it pretty good. that said, the block i got was a 99 lq4 that came with the iron heads and im also told the crank is different from all other lsx blocks. not good because with the amount of power i want this motor to put out, im told i will grenade a normal t56 meaning i will need to go to the t56 magnum. now im also being told that the t56 magnum was never offered for lt1 motors which i beleive my crank is compared to mine.... get my heartache right now?

Ive never heard of that.....but in anycase, the answer is 4l80e.....sorry it just is. If that is the case, just get another crank? Your gonna spend a fortune on trying to make a t56 strong, but not build the motor right?
