Default mounting on stand

Does this look good? Im a bit worried about the started tab. Still have the chain on it. The stand sucks but it held my old Pontiac motor..

I would lower the motor down so that the pivot point of the stand is in line with the camshaft of the motor. I have my 5.3 on the stand like I described and it's balanced almost perfectly. I've rolled it over twice now to work on the bottom end and had no problems.

Use decent hardware. Metric grade 8.8 bolts worked for me.

I used the grade 8 bolts my big worry is that starter tab seems like a lot of wieght to hang off that little bit of aluminum! Since this pic I moved the top left to the 10 o clock position. On a suggestion of a friend.
