Default What stall for this cam???

I'm going with the cam listed below, I need help choosing what stall speed I can run on my setup. It's not a drag car so I'm trying to stay away from 4k stall. I'd prefer to stay at a 3600 since I'm running 3:73 gears. Car will b a show/weekend cruiser..... Thanks guys

230/236 .591/.601 on a 111 lsa

Ive owned a 3200 and 4000... Easy decision, go withs 4k stall. I had a vigilante 3200 and stepped up to a circle D 5c which is a 4000 stall. The 4k drove just as civil as the 3200.

Trust me, go 4k!!!

If you do any racing or care about ET/etc at all.. Go 3800-4000.

If you don't and you truly intend to just use it as a show/cruiser... 3400.

EDIT* And it is RARE for me to recommend something that small, even for a stock cam car.

I would add PTC as my recommendation however.

I actually have a yank SS4000 that needs a rebuild and wanted to restall it to a 3600, I talked to yank already and got a quote. I just needed to make sure a 36 would be fine. Now, time to get it boxed up and shipped out......lol..... The following mods are going into my 30th, should be fun..

Forged 347 w/ -2cc pistons
Weiand intake ported & polished
MTI ported TB
TSP 5.3l Stage 2.5 Heads
LS7 Lifters
230/236 .591/.601 on a 111 lsa Cam
Kooks LTs w/ory
ASP Underdrive
Built 4l60e
Yank SS3600

I have a SS3600 in my car and love it, has extremely good driveability and still performs good on the track.

If yank can't figure out EXACTLY what to do with your converter based on your set up than contact PTC. For the money they can't be beat.
Most companies will build you a converter for your combo. Surely yank can, although I've never owned one and most likely never will. If you have already forked over cash hope fully they'll work with you?..

PTC will build you a converter for your needs. If you ( need, must have,) want a "named brand" , converter contact pro torque converter. They spec many for Proline and do real good in the outlaw 10.5 class if not dominate.
My BONE stock LQ4 and PTC converter surprised a bunch people ( caused a few fights for my cash).
