Default ls2 rod with mahle piston

I have a questions for you. If Im going to do LS6 3.898 block since I have ls2 rod with .945 floating I think. And want run mahle flat top piston. Is it bad idea to use stock ls2 rods? What compressor ratio would be for that and run 243 heads. Let me know what do your opinion. Many thanks.

the ls2 rod will allow for better rod bolts.but consider a 383 rotating stroker assembly .
