Default LQ9 head gaskets & misc LS info

Hey Guys , I'm new here and new to the LS scene . I've just picked up a 2004 LQ9 that I'm going to put between the wheelwells of my 68 Cougar of all things . The motor has been sitting and I want to pull the heads and clean things up ( looking down the intake runners I can see some crap on the valves ) . What are the head gaskets of choice ? . I know my way around the earlier SBC's but these LS motors are new to me . Any info you can send my way on all matters would be much appreciated .

I just used a victor reinz complete gasket kit. Came with MLS head gaskets. Everything appeared to be of good quality for the price. Think it was like $200 on eBay.

Forget victor reins. They suck ***** on gaskets. Go to the dealer and get original good ****. Yes you will spend more but save at the long run. Dont want to have problems later and have to do it all over again
