I went to look at an 01 z28 for my friend today. It has a t-rex cam and PP heads. The car looked clean and didn't seem to have any major issues, and I can get it cheap (under 4500). The only thing that bothered me was the motor shook pretty hard and violently. He insisted it was only because of the large cam and if he put tighter motor mounts on it would make the whole car shake. He also said after it warmed up it doen't shake as bad and when he opened up the throttle it seemed alot smoother. I know bigger cams tend to have some lope, but it seemed like it was excessive, although I supposed worst case scenario is either the motor mounts are bad which is a cheap easy fix or it needs a better tune.

Just get some poly motor mounts installed and you will be good to go!
