Default is this clean enough for mls gaskets?

I used a a rubber nipple gasket remover on the end of a drill to remove the graphite head gasket material and then went over the block surface with a razor blade.. is this clean enough for the newer mls gaskets?

Thats a bit cleaner than even mine was. I used a razor and Croil. I've had not a single issue with mine so far.

Just be sure to get around the dowel pins well. I had one of mine stuck in the motor and one in the head...

I would check that deck for straightness for the simple fact that green is normally reserved for steel only bc it's the coarsest one available, i used yellow (medium) and finished surface with white (finest)...just check to be sure you don't want to have to go back after everything is assembled due to a head gasket leak
