Default Cam question california smog

I have a 2000 5.7 with an auto and 2500 stall and added a slp ls6 intake and pro1 cnc dart heads Im trying to pick a cam to run that will pass California smog and allow me to use the stock manifolds

I have a couple cams right now

228/228r 112
222/228 114 5+1

however Im thinking about going custom grind 228/228 lsa 116

What do you guys think have any better ideas?

yup, keep your stock cam for the re smog...

So your just going to keep the stock exhaust manifolds? that new cam will want to breathe man..

I understand you want to keep it smog legal but your going to want some longtubes to help the airflow...

to each their own I guess

Or just find a special place to smog things... I don't know of any but I'm sure they are around.

You'll need a cam with at least -4 overlap, a good tune. If you keep the stockish manifolds you'll need a big exhaust split.
