Cloyes are excellent, but not the budget option, if budget is a concern.
Scoggins Dickey sells SD7140 for $68 which is a JP Performance 5618T single roller. To me is the next step above the LS2 chain and gets you new brand new sprockets and a torrington bearing for bout $25 more.

Yea ls2 is the budget option but is usually plenty...a lot of guys on here will run double roller billet timing sets and they are only making 400hp which is overkill if you ask me...ls2s were rated 400hp from the factory and are pretty stout compared to ls1 timing chains
