Default Best 1.8 rocker arms?

Looking to buy some 1.8 rocker arms and just curious as to what real world experiences folks have had with the different manufacturers.

I've ran Harland Sharp's for years. If you use them don't run alot of spring though. Stick with beehives.

What will your lift be with the 1.8's. I have turned that spring 7000 with a 1.7 HS rocker and the ls6 cam. My ls6 has lighter valves though.

Higher ratio rocker arms are for people who don't want to change cam, the lift gains are minimal when compared to lift picked up with a cam...I dot think the ASA cam has very drastic ramp rates, but valve train stability becomes concern when running higher ratio rocker with an aftermarket cam...

All that being said if your dead set on the higher ratio rockers SLP makes a 1.85 ratio designed to mimic the investment cast factory rockers which are nice and you don't have the hassle of adjusting roller rockers for a good wipe pattern...anyway good luck on the project

I have 1.8's and psi valvespring on my car now with the stock ls6 cam. I just bolted the rockers on. No adjustment needed.

I can post a dyno graph of a back to back on 1.7 to the 1.8's if you like.

I wouldn't doubt it added power, the stability is my concern, but again you have a GM cam with ramps that aren't very aggressive, try 1.8s on an aggressive cam...

I mainly said the dyno sheet thing so op could see some results of the rocker swap. I'm sure a aggressive cam could change someones combo. But there are some ls7's out there with some pretty aggressive cams. They come with 1.8 rockers.

With psi 1511 springs ,asa cam ill still be able to use the 1.8 rockers due to the slower ramp speed of the asa cam

It's a stock crate ls6 with bolt-ons and these rockers. Stock cam and all. Keep in mind these numbers are about 3.5% low compared to a dynojet dyno.

So it was a ~5hp gain? The rockers cost the same as a cam...
