Yessir they do fit and the clearance on pushrod to head is tighter than I would like too yet I think its doable. In process of changing out oil pump, timing chain and installing trans I built with stall, adj torque arm and d loop and relocation bracket and new motor mounts so got some work to do but am goin to bar the engine over and check all the prods clearances before giving it a go.

Well perhaps obviously is the wrong term since I will also determine proper spring to go with as these are heavier than stock. Many more details to be checked, yes.

Why not buy the kit and sell the springs as new from the kit. A lot of guys refresh their LS1 valve springs and the springs in the hot cam kit if I recall are the LS6 springs, which would be a step up for a stock car.

And I have seen tbe howards grind before and will give them a call to see how advanced the lobe design is compared to gm since I know there's more to be had than what gm did.
