just wondering if anyone has a good website for a wrecking yard that will ship and sells motor harness and ecu. ive looked on ebay but most only sell the longblock, and the ones that have all that i need seem to want a mint for a engine with over 180000 miles. Just wondering if there are some other places out there that may be more reasonable in price

You didn't look close enough on ebay. There are usually dozens of complete pull outs there. They may be more than you feel like they're are worth, but nothing's cheap anymore.

Car-parts.com they should have all kinds. You can pick up a decent 5.3 for cheap.

Try LKQ, but you will need to ask about the harness etc, doesn't come with.
I bought an L33 for $850 after core. No accessories though.

Yea lkq...and look at Craigslist multiple times everyday...I bought an iron 5.3 for $600 then sold it for $1000 because I found an l33 aluminum 5.3 for $300...just keep looking, another trick is to search multiple areas on Craigslist...I will usually drive around 100 miles depending on the price....I found a 4 speed manual trans, bell housing, clutch kit, driveshaft, crossmember, and pedal set up for $300 and instantly traveled 120 miles to get it because deals like that don't stay on there for long, early bird gets that worm!

I second craigslist - I've found all kinds of treasures on there. found an lq4 block with light rust that cleaned out with a hone for 100 bucks. Just check often!
