I have seen a ton of threads on where to buy a new hose assembly or how to modify my existing assembly with new lines, however my question is why can I not just run straight hoses from the heater core to the water pump? I understand I will need to make sure they are not resting on anything that will tear them up, but it seems like it would be the easiest solution. Thoughts?
