Default Stripped head bolt threads. Helicoil? Time sert?

I Stripped a head bolt thread (new stock gm) on the first 90* sequence while tightening. I've been looking at some options. Some say helicoil but I can't find a 11mx2 helicoil kit. Does anyone know where to get one?

Also if anyone has a time sert kit they would like to rent/sell let me know as that seems to be my only option at this point. Any other advice would be appreciated.

Kent Moore has a specific kit to repair LS head bolt threads. I suggest looking into that.

Time sert is the only way to go. I put 50K miles on a timeserted northstar cadillac. I bought mine off ebay, then resold it once the job was done.

What kind of gasket have you been seeing people are using? I kinda didn't wanna get paper ones yet I think a copper gasket is a bit much for me, but I also have a slightly blow head gasket, I bought the northstar performance kit, now im looking for nice gaskets (: thanks for any help!

Yeah I know, the Most that you can get with the motor in the car are the first 3 bolts in the middle section from front to rear, everything else you might have to drop the motor because the drill will hit the firewall, PITA.

Found out that's the case. Is there any way to tilt the motor to get some more room or is engine removal the only way? My right angle hits on the brake booster. Any manual drilling tools that will work?
