Default head casting question

i just got a 1999 Z28 today and its all stock with a stall and built tranny,i noticed the head castings are 853's ,didnt 99 ls1's come with 241's? wasnt sure any info would be helpful,the motor is super clean almost looks like a replacement is why im wondering

I've seen a few 99's with 241's, but I can count them on 2 fingers...that being said, 99.99 percent of 99 ls1's had 853's. 806's were 97-98, 853's we're 99-mid 00 and 241's we're mid 00-04.

ok thanks,i was getting them confused with 862 heads which i think are off 5.3's
