My budget H/C swap is alive! Tick SNS2/ported 799s (PICS/VID)
Previous Mods:
-Pacesetters/ORY/Borla
-Lid
-25% UDP
made 346whp/340wtq through a S60
New Stuff:
-Tick Performance "SNS2" cam 227/235 .61x/.62x 110+3
-799s, 63cc, hand ported
-LS6 Intake
-Cometic .040s
-LS6 PCV swap
-LS2 chain
-LS2 lifter trays
-LS6 oil pump
-7.375 pushrods
-BTR lifters
-BTR double springs
-Comp Trunion upgraded stock rockers
-ARP head bolts
Install went good, It was my first time doing it but had a buddy helpin me that has done a few H/C swaps in the past. I hairline cracked the oil pan barely around the back corner bolt hole by the filter when tightening the pan back up so I need a pan before I can do anything else. I have to thank Martin at Tick for great customer service and helping me out numerous times via phone calls and PMs. Cant wait to get it on a dyno then down the track!

Heads were done by Jess Franz in flatwoods ky. It has gone 7.85 at clay city before with basic bolt ons so I dunno, 7.50s at least I hope.. My buddy Joe helped me he has a H/C pewter SS

Congrats, but be careful running this thing open headers without at least a foot + of tubing after headers. Your front O2 senors can burn up and you'll end up with a helluva headache fixing it afterwards.
Once tuned it is going to be sweet.
