Yes but why would you want to? Countless debates and typically you'll lose some rpm up top...for the gains I personally don't think it's worth it...but to answer your question yes u can...my buddy tried Harlan sharps on his corvette and since the heads needed machining he returned them for JEGS brand lol, let's just say he would have rather done a cam in retrospect...

my 99 stock around 5800 rpm the valves started fluttering / sputtering / missing. i wouldnt increase valve lift without adding better springs, they are the weakest link on an ls1 (imo). with my new ls6 springs i never miss a beat at 6k rpm. purrs like a kitten! ps ls6 are only good for upto 570 lift, get better springs if you want a future big cam. you should look at an UD pulley for a few extra ponys.

Only time that is worth doing is if your in a class race that makes you run a stock camshaft but does not have rules on rockers. You can get anouther .02"-.03" lift this way. Other than that useless.

I used comp pro magnum 1.75 on my bolton car and still use them with my c/h combo. You can use them and spin your rpms up 2 6100 on your stock motor and they will work great. But you will need good dual springs like prc or brian tooly racing. If you dont put the springs in you will float your valves above 5000.

a stock 98 & 99 cam has like a .25 higher lift than a 01/02 stock cam. not sure about 2000. if you had a 01/02 i would say you might be ok with the 1.8 rockers. ps 01/02 have other better features like exhaust manifolds & ls6 intakes. cheers.

a bigger ratio rocker arm will stress out the stock springs designed for a lesser lift and rate then the stock springs where designed for .you would be better off with a tune ,or a ported TB.

For mild hydraulic setups roller rocks have proven to be an expensive mistake. This isn't an old SBC with ball fulcrum and 1.5 ratio, this is a gen III motor that has roller fulcrum and 1.7 already.
This is going to be a costly mistake of a buildup if you are going to pretend it is a gen 1 instead of recognizing the GenIII needs a little different approach.
Hell I think you could do a mild cam for the same money and actually see a gain rather than have unnecessarily heavy aftermaket rockers just cost you RPM

The only way to do it right is get the slp 1.85 rockers and change the springs to some comp 918 or pac 1218's. Nobody goes this route because of the cost...you might as well do a cam for the price unless you get them for cheap. The gains are around 10whp and 17wtq.

Indeed... The previous owner of my ride had them installed with 918's. I keep kicking around the idea of ditching them for a cam, but I am leaning towards some AI heads instead and staying stealth mode.
There is a thread floating around of a guy making over 400whp with a stock cam and AI 243's.
