would it be ok to run beehive springs with a 228r cam?

You will be OK. Use a good spring though as always.

my buddy has a new set of Comp ones in the box,i was just checking to see if it would work out ok says there rated to @600.

i have 1.8 roller rocker im wanting to use how much will this increase my lift for these springs

Lift will go from .588" to .623" with a 1.8 rocker

Personally, if you are set on beehives for that cam I would use Pac or PSI springs. I'm using pac 1518's here with no problems. They have 2500 miles on them as of now.
