LS6 H/C opinions...
Picked up an 04 Z06 about a month ago. Added a few bolt ons...
Kooks 1 7/8" LT's
Kooks 3" X
Factory Ti's
Halltech Venom Intake
Tuned
It based 363rwhp/350ftlbs on a dynojet bone stock. After mods on the same dyno it did 394rwhp/375ft lbs. Feels great as is....BUT the "bug" never stops.
If I keep the stock LS6 intake/TB...are ported heads(AI/FTI etc) really worthwhile after adding a cam? It looks like the LS6 intake can only flow so much..does this eliminate a lot of the gains ported heads would provide? I guess im asking if a cam only can get me 430rwhp, is it realistic for the heads to bump me to 450rwhp?(Not to dyno race but just for reference)
More of a auto-x/open track type of car so the cam(size) will reflect that..not looking for all out power and ET's. Want the most aggressive cam I can reliably put in using stock ls6 valves, beehives and Ti retainers... I know the analogy about cake
Appreciate it...

Keep tinkering with it. Do full bolt-ons a good light clutch and it will scream and be dead nuts reliable. On a dyno jet mine would do 430+whp and about 408 wtq. A h/c one should go over 450 if all is right pretty easily.
