Default I need help. arp cylinder head bolt torque specs

Can some experienced guys let me know the torque step sequence when using arp head bolts. Engine is a LS1. Arp calls for 90 foot pounds which seems like a lot.

INSTALLATION METHOD FOR PRO SERIES HEAD BOLT KITS
Part Number: 134-3609 Application: Chevy Gen III/LS Series (2003 & earlier)
1. To ensure proper thread engagement and accurate torque readings, clean ALL threads in the block. Chase if
necessary with ARP Thread Chaser, part number 912-0011 (M11 X 2.0) and 912-0001 (M8 X1.25).
2. Clean and inspect all hardware prior to installation. Look for obvious defects or shipping damages, plus proper fit,
length and dimension.
3. Position the chamfered side of the washer on the bolt so it faces the bolt head. This is done to clear the radius on
the under head of the bolt. Note: Improper installation of the washer will cause premature bolt failure.
4. Lubricate the threads of the bolts, the under head of the bolt and the washers with ARP ULTRA-TORQUE
FASTENER ASSEMBLY LUBRICANT.
5. Install the cylinder head(s) and check for binding or misalignment.
6. Install the bolts into the cylinder head and tighten them hand tight. ARP recommends using the ARP ULTRATORQUE
FASTENER ASSEMBLY LUBRICANT that is provided with each kit as opposed to motor oil.
This is due to higher friction on the bolts as well as inconsistencies in the clamping force of the
fasteners when motor oil or other low quality lubricants are used.
PRELOAD (TORQUE) RECOMMENDATIONS
7. Following the manufacturers recommended torque sequence tighten the bolts in three equal steps to the
specifications listed below with ARP ULTRA-TORQUE FASTENER ASSEMBLY LUBRICANT.
M11 bolts 75 ft lbs M8 bolts 25 ft lbs
Note: ARP Ultra-Torque Fastener Assembly Lubricant has been specifically designed to reduce tension preload scatter and
eliminate the need to cycle high performance engine fasteners before final installation. ARP Ultra-Torque far surpasses all
requirements offered by previous ARP lubricants in terms of fastener preload repeatability and performance lubricating
properties. For more information on ARP Ultra-Torque visit our website at www.arp-bolts.com or call 1 800-826-3045.

Im a dumbass. It says 75. 134-3609 bolts here. So is 35 then 55 then 75 pounds a good step sequence? Still need to know about the thread sealant please.

No thread sealant. It wouldn't work very well mixed with the arp lube..

The important thing is you sequence so you don't warp the head. You can do 30-50-75, 25-45-75...it doesn't make a big difference, just don't spin it up to max torque on the first pass.
