Default LS2 timing sprocket part #?

I'm putting an LS2 cam in my '99 LS1. The main reason I'm doing this is I'm changing the valve seals and changing out my stock LS1 oil pump for an LS6 unit. I picked up the cam for $50 so I figured I'd put it in while I had the motor torn down.

I know everything I need for the swap, I just want to make sure I get the right timing sprocket for the timing sensor to read. Does anybody know the GM part #?

I'm assuming the one on the left is the one I need?

Someone correct me if I am wrong, but a stock LS2 Cam uses the 12586481 sprocket and a cam sensor on the Timing Cover.

The stock LS1 Cam doesn't have the cam sensor on the Timing Cover, rather in the block.

While the stock LS2 cam doesn't have cam sensor gear on it like the LS1 (and aftermarket) Cams have. Or do they?

So, to run the stock LS2 cam, he'll need 12586481 sprocket, the wiring harness adapter, and LS2 Timing Cover.

If the LS2 Cam has cam sensor gear machined into it like the LS1 Cam, then theoretically you can use either sprocket, since the sensor is not dependent on the sprocket.

The LS2 cam doesn't have the cam sensor gears so I'll need the LS2 timing cover with the cam sensor on it and an extesnion harness.

I need the 12576407 sprocket that is 24x and will work with my LS1 PCM. The 12586481 sprocket is 52x I believe and will not work with my PCM.
