Default 6.0 stock engine with V2 cam and stock 241 heads

can this be done?

I dont need should get this or do this stuff.

Just need to know will this work with ZERO issues!

What head gaskets are recommended to clear PTV and keep this setup running well.

thanks

So you want to put lower flow heads on to presumably increase compression but then are asking about using a thick head gasket(which could lower compression) to maintain PTV?

Why do you want the 241s? To me it seems a luittle like the old school guys wanting to put 305 heads on 350s to raise compression and ignoring the flow difference.

I've put that cam in a couple cars and had good PTV with the stock headgaskets (~.052" thick). In your case, if you've milled the heads or deck of the block, then you may have issues.

I like the 241 heads. A lot of people think they're worthless, but they actually have a lot of potential. Sure, there are better castings, but I was just given a set of complete 241's for free!

They are free and I need to run the car for now and will swap them next year for bigger and better.

Where do we all get head gaskets from now? Stock replacements that is.
