Don't order pistons yet, you need to talk to a engine builder.. Those measurements are swinging crazy, 3.79?That's what a normal 5.3 block is??

So much inconsistency here

That's a huge swing in bore size...are you sure you have a new LS6 block?

I would take it to a machine shop and have them fit a 3.903 or 3.905 piston.

Get a machine shop to measure it. You can't measure something like a block with calipers.

Just tell your engine builder/machinist what you want and let him order the parts..

All of the bores should be rather close..

Where did you get the block? Any pics?

...
A caliper (digital or otherwise) is not the right tool for measuring bore diameter...

you should be using a bore gauge with a micrometer.

you need one of these, and if you don't have engine building experience I wouldn't try your hand at engine building if your using a dial caliper to measure bore diameter

That one what I been talk about. I don't know what it call. But got it. Thank you. I just need measure and order parts and have machine shop assembly it for me. Because I don't know how to measure right to set up rings files. Other things Im pretty goof with stuff to put back together.
