Default Comp # 26926 kit wrong retainers?

Hey there, I bought this kit from a forum member and I'm not trying to throw anyone under the bus but I just wanted to get some clarification. I had my M/S install this # 26926 spring kit when they were reworking the heads and it appears that I received the wrong retainers with the kit. I feel its fairly obvious that they are not the right retainers but I just wanted a second opinion

Those retainers are for beehive springs. That's why they are smaller od than the springs.

That's what I was thinking. I measured them and they are around 1.03 where as the correct ones are 1.29

Also, why the springs are "off center" in relation to the retainers.

A "3rd opinion": If the head guy[s] don't know they are wrong, I'd find someone else to do your future work. [Including, correcting their FU]

Yeah, definitely the wrong retainers.
The Comp retainers you need are #1779-16 (tool steel) they run about $158 (full retail).
Diameter 1: 1.172"
Diameter 2: .910"
Diameter 3: .646"

Oh the guy at the machine shop totally knew they were wrong. He called me and told me but I told him to put them together and I'll figure it out. They are probably off center because they are the wrong retainers and resting funky in the spring.
