Default Dickey Scoggins cnc 5.3 heads

https://sdparts.com/details/scoggin-...center/sd8926c I have a 2004 5.3 (1999 pcm dbc)with 706 heads and a lunati 212/218 cam, LT headers and CAI in a 1992 chevy pickup. I would like to know what kind of power increase I can expect and will these heads keep my compression ratio stock or will it up the compression some. I did a search but can't seem to find any info on these heads except for Dickey's results.

We offer them in both 5.3 truck chamber volume and LS6 chamber volume, so make sure to specify you want the ones milled to truck volume and your compression will remain unchanged.

In case you missed it, we are having 10% off Friday through monday on all of these items on our website, you can shop online or call in.

That's dependent on the total setup. Average 30 to 40 HP, but it really depends on the setup you're coming from and going to. Compression ratio change, what heads you took off, can, etc, will all affect what the heads are worth in power.

Your site says 799 head castings, is that a miss print??? Don't you use 862 head castings for the SD8926C heads???

We used to, but we now use the same castings that come on the new 5.3s and mill them to keep compression up on older 5.3s.

I have a 2004 5.3 1999 pcm in a 1992 chevy pickup . Right know motor has stock 706 heads,1 3/4 LT headers no cats,CAI and a lunati 212/218 cam. 30 to 40 hp would be awesome. I am actually hoping to get some more low end torque with these heads.

Unless you raise compression you won't get more low end TQ. With ported heads you may actually lose some low end TQ. What you're needing is compression.
