I have plenty of my machine work done at Mick's auto (Eaton lane; 1 block
north of Rapids drive).Old man Rich Naggy inherited this shop at 19 when his
pops suddenly passed. After 5 decades he's pretty thorough..although a bit
slow but the quality is worth the wait...especially if you're planning a winter
build. I assume you would be doing the teardown and reassembly ??? Hell I
could even give ya a hand as I work in Oak Creek. Otherwise if you wanted
a machine shop to do all the breakdown and rebuild then C & S performance
in Butler would be your best bet. They also do quite a few machine jobs for
me and their quality is top notch. I know a few of their guys and they aren't
just cash-only part timers as some shops employ. These are professionals
and all have many years of machining and hot rodding experience. Lastly if
you didn't mind a drive to a shop that specializes in stroker LS engines, look
at AES (Tony Shroeder) formerly of Fast Times Motorworks..he's in the burbs
on Chicago's N.West side..Last summer I toured his shop..quite an outfit with
some really great minds at work...however this would probably be your most
expensive option.
