Ballistic Speed 92mm TB review
I received my Ballistic Speed 92mm throttle body and figured I would do a short review for those interested. Here are a few pics.
Everything bolted up fine. The screw holes were fine with no rough threads. The spring on the throttle body is not too stiff like a cheap throttle body. The coating looks decent and durable but time will tell. I installed the throttle body and out of the box the car fired right up and idled fine. I took it for a short drive and the throttle linkage does not seem "STIFF" and so far its great. I definitely recommend this. I would say the throttle feels better than the FAST I had on the car prior. As I brought it back the idle was a tad high but that could be the TPS and IAC needing to relearn. If not I will adjust the idle screw a little but for the Black Friday price it was definitely a steal!

Mine no longer hangs but I can not tune it to idle right. It takes a couple tries to even start and if you start the car dead nuts cold it can sit there and warm up 100% but will stumble and die constantly with throttle input until you turn it off long enough to reset the pcm and restart the car. I've spent hours messing with different things in the idle tune and got it where it will idle once that has been done (but every so often the idle still hangs at a higher RPM until you come to a complete stop). A couple tuners said the only way they get them to work is to port the IAC chamber which I have not done yet.
Put the same basic cam as my car has in my roommates car, the only difference is he has stock heads and ls6 intake and his car idles perfectly and I barely touched anything at all in his idle tune.
