Default Best place to get a new engine?

Alright guys so I am in the market for a new LS engine. Where is the best place to get a new LS1 longblock OR if there are any sponsors that have deals going on I am also considering an LS3 longblock to throw in my F-Body. Let me know!

Great, I will try Scoggin tomorrow. Does anyone know if they still carry the LS6 longblocks?

not new they dont. gm has topped producing new ls6 motors they may have a rebuilt one.

op i would maybe look into a low mileage l92 long block its the same motor as an ls3 minus vvt. you could pick one up used delete vvt and add a stock ls3 or a nice cam and be well under the price of a new long block even after you source an intake

1 additional difference is the LS3 has the hollow stem valves.....much better
valvetrain stability when camming it and running beehive springs

Just saw this in another and it looks like a good deal for someone looking for a LS6.

True but the ls3 also has a nasty habit about breaking those valves when cammed or revved high. To me it would be a wash
