Default which heads to buy

Before summer I am going to do a heads cam swap (since I have a lifter making noise) just curious what you guys think. I'm leaning towards the 2.5 ls6 heads with the ms3 cam from Texas speed. Should I get those heads milled? Should I just go with the 5.3 heads? Also what about oil pump/timing chain? Annnd lol what about injectors

Thanks for the input!
Matt

The 2.5 LS6 cylinder heads are a great way to go with the MS3, but we will have to keep them at a standard chamber of roughly 64cc to insure proper clearance assuming your still using the standard LS1 piston. If your wanting to bump compression and you have an extra hundred to spend I can get you into our PRC aftermarket casting 225 As-Cast cylinder head that features a thicker deck, larger valves, laid over valves for increased piston to valve clearance, and a standard chamber of 62cc which offers us a bump in compression right from the start. I've posted a link to this particular cylinder head below. Feel free to give us a call for any help with your setup.

I'm running the PRC 5.3 heads with a cam very similar to the M4, and it runs very strong!

I would recommend the FAST 36lb injectors. They should have no problem supplying your setup with enough fuel. I posted a link to them below so you can take a look.

Are you running on stock injectors?

I would go with 42lb injectors also, I'm running 42's and at 80% duty cycle. The price difference isn't that much either.

Always go at least one size higher on injectors than what you need.
