You will need new hardened seats for your Dual Rev's.

just currious, but why not go with 918's. if you have to get duals go with cranes not rev's. i have heard way to many horror stories about them. i have cranes and i would have to say they are the best springs i have seen yet.

I agree, stay away from the REVs. The Crane duals or even the Comp 918s would be a better choice.

well see the thing is this...

ok, i am buying the cam, springs, retainers all from the same guy...

i bought the cam for a great price and then he told me he would sell me the double REV springs and retainers both for $120... so hell, that is a great price for both of them...

they are already in the mail, so could i use the REV titanium retainers with the 918 springs... i will just sell those REVs...

what do you think?

I think that would be a better deal since you really don't need a dual spring for that cam. I just wouldn't trust a used spring.

I posted almost the exact question.

I would stay away from the REV springs also. I broke 3 in my G5X-2 cammed car. My friend has broken 2 so far. I got rid of the REV's.

depends on your definition of "work". if you mean hang over the spring then yes they'll "work". the 918's are conical springs which means they use a small OD retainer the same size as stock. the Revs do not.
