biggest cam 5.3 can use withought ptv issues question, I have a 10.64:1 compression 5.3 with flat top pistons. I was recommended by comp cams to use there 232/234 cam, with 595"/598" lift and a 112 LSA. I have trick flow 205 heads with 58cc chambers. WHEN does piston to valve clearance become an issue with 5.3 engines? its a gen 3? at what lift should you consider getting pistons with valve reliefs?
