Question Have Compression numbers; need advice on H/C/I upgrades

Hello Everyone,

I am wanting to do a H/C/I swap on my 2000 LS1. The motor has 134K. I want to get as much RWHP as I can because I am about to be stationed in Germany, and I want to smash on some euros lol. Now, I worry about swapping out the top end, and pushing too much through the bottom end. I don't want to get over to Germany, and have issues. I'm hearing that these numbers are ok to do the swaps, and I'm hearing that I shouldn't. Everyone please give me some advice so I can roll up a consensus. Thanks for your time

Default

Those numbers look really good, consistency is key.

Get the right parts, tune it well, maintain it, don't overextend the engine/parts capabilities and you should have a long lasting setup.

Thanks for your response redtan.

Do you think I can do PRC 227 heads and a magic stick 4 cam with those numbers?
