Default Proper way to seafoam crankcase?

I have seen a ton of threads on seafoam but wanted to specifically ask about the crankcase treatment. Is it universally accepted that you should pour it in and then let it idle and then immediately change the oil? If so, how long do you let it idle?

Just trying to make sure I do this right since I have seen some say drive it for a few hundred miles and others say do not drive it at all.

When you change the oil, cut the filter open, too.

Look into AutoRX more expensive and slower but you will be shocked at the cleaning it can do. I found it useful to change the filter after 800-1000miles.
