Sounds a little bit noisy, what length push rods did you put in there?

7.400 pushrods. It has stock 243 heads and stock gm head gaskets. The lifters still need to pump up oil some more. I havent ran it longer than 2 minutes.

take a vid after you install the exhaust. So we can just hear the front better.

Sounds ok to me. Honestly when you're just swapping the cam theres really not a lot to screw up, as long as its timed correctly, installed the springs right, and have you PR length in the ballpark you should be just fine. Cammed cars will naturally make more noise than stock ones and with the TV3 having a harsh intake lobe you may even get more noise.

So I tried to start the car again and now it just cranks but wont turn over. I take out the driver side plugs and this is what they look like. They looked a little wet when removed. Would could be the problem?

did you change the injectors? bigger cams sometimes need a little extra air to get them started. push the gas pedal down a bit to open the throttle a bit and see what happens when you crank it

No I still have my stock 99 injectors. I talkef to tsp amd they told me the stock ones would be fine with the cam. I also just did some searching and found that it could be because the plusg are fouled now because ot it running with no cam tune??? I also found out in search that it could be because of a broken engine temp sensor on the driver side head...I check mines and it is indeed broken...the plasic piece broke off the sensor and just the metal plugs are showing

the temp sensor will make it run terrible but still run. the other inclination is possible i suppose still though Id try what i suggested. my f13 would do the same thing if the throttle wasnt open a little.

and just a hint but you're going to max those 26 lb ones out. i have the 28's on my 02 and with my f13 and 243's i run pretty damn close to 100% duty on mine, I need bigger ones

The temp sensor will make it run rich which in turn can foul your plugs. Have you had it tuned? I'd replace plugs, and the sensor and it should be good enough to start.

If run ls2 injectors and tune for them, give yourself some headspace.

Need to see what the passenger plugs look like as well.

This sounds O2 related to me

It's a fun cam and despite the aggressive lobes I haven't had any problems with it after 3 years. It will be a lot better with gears though, when I put 3.90's in it really woke up the car in 1st and 2nd gear. I would measure PR's regardless despite what TSP sent you if you haven't.

Here is a pic of all the spark plugs. They were old to begin with and I didnt add new ones after the cam and heads swap.

Fix the engine temp sensor before you chase your tail for other issues. The amount of tuning, both spark and fuel related that are dependent upon knowing the engine temp is crazy. If the PCM doesn't know how warm the engine is, it's going to be pig rich (which is what your plugs show). Get that replaced and chances are things will be much closer to where they need to be. You aren't going to be able to get a proper tune until that temp sensor gets replaced anyways, so start there.

Ok I just came back from autpzobe and replaced the old broke sensor with a brand new one and also replaced the plugs. the car started right up but then cut off or struggled to stat on or start. Since the car isn't tuned yet I am gonna just wait for my tuner to come friday and tune the car.
