That's awesome info.

Is the LSX a 90 MM or 78 MM version?

What is ported on the LS6 intake vs the LSX, just the intake ports?

no wonder nobodies having much luck with the lsx over the ls6...2-8cfm difference i doubt would do much for anyone...gotta wonder what the 90mm version would do though.

Great info!

Verbs is right on the mark about TEA butt kicking customer service.

I can't wait to see what type of numbers TEA gets with the new LS2 intake and the TEA LS6 2.5 heads!

That sucks for people shelling out the big bucks for an LSX. I would like to see a 90mm LSX with 90mm tb and a 85mm lid and maf though.

I think there would be slightly better gains with the 90mm

Um, there's 4 sets of numbers.

Next to the lift #'s, you have the ls6 head flow #'s w/o an intake attached, then with a stock ls6 intake, then with a ported ls6 intake, then with a ported lsx intake.

Puff puff give

I think the 90mm TB intake opening would be the key. Each port may flow well into the head, but what happens to flow when all 8 ports are required to draw the air charge from the stock sized opening?

I've always wondered the same. When testing, I thought you had to tape over the open ports on the other side of the intake. From what I was told, I am wrong. They should be left open. I would think a more "real" number would be made with the ports sealed and the air being drawn only from the TB hole.
