Default going with the trex, just a few questions

aftering doing a lot of research about the trex, i have decided to go with it. My mods are ls6 intake, hooker headers/off road pipe, corsa exhaust, whisper lid. I have a M6. Besides the obvious tune, is there anything else i need to do after installing this cam? And any comments on the power band range of this cam? thanks.

P.S. any new sounds clips would be great

over stock you probably wont see any gains till after 3500 rpms or so but after that it will just pull & pull & pull close to 7200 rpms...its a great all out race cam from what ive seen...there are soundclips floating around just do a search. I'd say get a cutout if your running a ypipe as it seems a few peeps are noticing good gains with a really free flowing exhaust...and the springs have to be setup a bit differently than most cams, but im sure smokinta or TR can help you out with that.

You will need Crane double vavle springs.

Tuning is the key to running this cam. We are still working on this in the Hot Rod.

You could either go with at least 4:10's now, or deal with the 3:42's for now, and save for a 12 bolt.

You also might want to swap out the timing chain while you are in there.
