LS1 ticking noise (video inside)
Hey guys, i was driving around today and noticed a ticking noise coming from the engine while getting on it. I popped the hood and checked out where the noise is coming from and found out its from passenger side... sounded like a exhaust leak so i thought maybe its the header gasket but i am not sure about that. I barley can hear it in idle but even better when i give it a good throttle... heres a video:
i did a longtube header(BBK) swap maybe 7-8k miles ago with new gaskets.
But like i said, i am not sure about it and im worried about its could be a engine problem like lifters, pushrods or something like that.
I havent noticed any other problems than the ticking sound and its got good power like always. Oh and it sounds like that when its cold or warm, doesnt matter.

I also think its not that bad to work on these cars. Theres not much room to work but when you get used to it its not that bad anymore
